Opposite the apartment, sailboats raise their masts in the port of Saint Gilles Croix de Vie. The entire main room, extended by a balcony, is oriented towards the marina. For a weekend or a stay for 4, you enjoy both the tranquillity of an independent rental in a house and the permanent activity of a port in the town. The 2 bedrooms, sober and comfortable, have comfortable bedding (1 double bed, 2 single beds). The bathroom is equipped with an Italian shower. The independent kitchen is very well equipped to prepare fresh products brought back from the market or fishing! The dining area is set up in the large and bright living room, alongside the lounge with TV screen. You will appreciate having a drink or a coffee on the balcony with garden furniture. The recent improvements to the accommodation ensure your comfort. The discreet decor is punctuated with invigorating touches of red.
In this apartment in Saint-Gilles, 400m from the small station terminus, you are well-placed to enjoy tourist and port activities. You can watch sailing boat departures or even take a sea trip on a boat, perhaps as far as the Île d'Yeu! You can visit the sardine canning workshops, the local speciality, before savouring some recipes! A few additional steps will take you to the market, to friendly restaurants (less than 300m away), to crêperies and to events organised on the quays. At the foot of the apartment, the cycle path will lead you to the large sandy beach 1 km away, along the dunes and on the Vendée coastline, facing rocks planted in the ocean. The Vendée landscapes will offer you other facets, along the villas of Les Sables d'Olonne, crossing the Monts forest or alongside the salt marshes of the Île de Noirmoutier.
